What you'll be doing:

  • Maintaining and improving our animation code base, keeping cross-system functionality solid,

  • Prototyping and implementing animation systems for AI-controlled enemies,

  • Working closely with gameplay and AI programmers to keep logic and animation working smoothly together,

  • Staying up to date with animation tech and trends, and bringing new ideas to the team.

Job requirements

Feel free to apply if you have:

  • Solid knowledge of C++,

  • Solid knowledge of UE4 or UE5,

  • Experience with UE animation systems,

  • Comfortable debugging and profiling with UE tech (e.g. Rewind Debugger),

  • Experience in prototyping and implementing locomotion systems,

  • Knowledge of VS2022 and/or Rider,

  • Self-reliance when it comes to solving problems,

  • Good communication skills.

It would be also nice to have:

  • Experience with GAS (Gameplay Ability System),

  • Knowledge of Perforce (P4),

  • Experience working on a UE-based AA/AAA title in a similar role,

  • Experience optimizing code for consoles (PS5/XSX),

  • Experience with multithreading and animation fast path optimization.
